Mol has signed an agreement with Norm Benzinkút Kft. On the purchase of 79 filling stations in Hungary – Mol Plc. website.
The agreement announced today is a continuation of an acquisition in March 2021, in which Slovnaft, the Slovak subsidiary of the MOL Group, acquired a 100 percent stake in Normbenz Slovakia sro and 16 filling stations in Slovakia under the Lukoil brand, Mol.
This acquisition is important to us in several ways. On the one hand, it provides an opportunity to optimize our operations in several countries, on the other hand, it further strengthens our regional positions and also supports the implementation of our long-term corporate strategy, in which we focus on the Consumer Services business.

With the purchase of the new filling stations, the number of Mol’s domestic wells will increase significantly: about 468 filling stations have been operated in Hungary so far.
