Trees falling on power lines, buildings, roads, chimneys falling from lightning, punctured roofs indicate the path of the storm, mainly in the south-southwestern part of the country, especially around Lake Balaton, in Somogy, Veszprém and Zala counties.

Mint we wrote, in the evening, violent thunderstorms raged mainly in the central and south – eastern parts of Transdanubia and in the Great Plain. These were mainly accompanied by hailstorms (up to several centimeters of ice) and damaging (more than 100 km / h) wind gusts.

However, by the second half of the night, the atmosphere is forecast to calm down in most places, at the latest in the Trans-Tisza region.

On Saturday afternoon, there may be thunderstorms around the Northern Central Mountains and the northern part of the Great Plain again, which could cause significant rainfall and possibly hail in smaller areas.
