Index – Domestic – Máté Kocsis finds it hard to believe that Judit Varga did not get Péter Magyar a job

As we wrote, Péter Magyar was interviewed by the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office in March, about which Máté Kocsis said: “He wants revenge, he blames the government and its members for the fact that his wife left him and he lost the jobs that his wife had acquired.”

The leader of the Fidesz faction reiterated his previous claim in the Telex video.

It is hard for me to imagine that if Péter Magyar had not been married to Judit Varga, then 4-5 well-paying public companies would have noticed his special ability

– said Máté Kocsis.

He added that although his wife also received a state assignment, he had nothing to do with it. As he said, it should not be confused that Márkus Szilvia Kocsisné “got a job according to his qualifications, Péter Magyar did not”. He recalled that his wife reviewed contracts for HUF 300,000 in the “super hospital” project company, while Péter Magyar “was CEO at state-owned companies for HUF 7-8 million”.

When asked whether it is possible to obtain a job for relatives in the state sector, Máté Kocsis said: “I accept the answer of the ministers. But they accept that I was right to think that there is a connection between the two things. That someone can suddenly run a Student Loan Center, road manager and everything. I’d be surprised if it was spontaneous. But as the Ministers claim it to be so, I have said nothing in the matter. Even if they think so, I will retract my statement, but please understand that my suspicions were well-founded.”

Máté Kocsis sees that Fidesz is not in a difficult situation before the municipal elections, as there is a pro-peace side and a pro-war left wing financed from abroad. He emphasized that the government’s central campaign theme will be war.

The faction leader of Fidesz also addressed István Hollik, who was replaced as Fidesz’s communications director. According to Máté Kocsis, they will continue to count on the government politician’s work, but “Tamás Menczer is better suited to the current challenges”.
