A woman around the age of 45 had to be revived at the Westend City Center in Budapest, the National Ambulance Service said on its Facebook page.
After running on Tuesday, the woman sat down for a refreshment with her girlfriend in one of the cafes in the plaza and then collapsed without any prior complaints. Luckily, there was also a day off doctor and a student ambulance nurse nearby who immediately rushed to the woman’s aid and notified the ambulance.
The patient, who had not experienced respiration, was examined and resuscitation was started immediately. The first aid provider of the shopping center joined the rescue within a few moments, the outsourced several shocks were delivered with a defibrillator.
Shortly afterwards, paramedics took over and then resumed life-saving at an elevated level. Thanks to the chest pressures that started in time, the woman was finally able to be transported to the hospital in a stable condition, the ambulance service wrote, wishing for a speedy recovery and congratulating those involved in saving the life.
