Captain Sabertooth and the Missing Diamond went off with Folkets Amanda, and is directed by Rasmus Sivertsen and Marit Aune from Trøndelag.
With this, two Trøndelag residents won the prize above all prizes, namely the people’s prize.
Well represented
Trøndelag was well represented during this year’s Amanda Festival and captured both this year’s short film and Folkets Amanda.
The Manila Lover, but the stone core building Øyvind Branzæg, walked away with the award for best short film.
Villmarksbarna, which is produced by a team from Hel-Trøndelag with Dag Rune Johansen from Levanger in front, was also nominated for Folkets Amanda, but had to settle for becoming a finalist this time.
