IND vs PAK Match: Online food delivery platform Swiggy on Saturday said it received more than 250 biryani orders per minute during the ODI World Cup group match between India and Pakistan. Since the start of the match, 250 biryani orders were placed per minute on Swiggy. The company said, ‘A family in Chandigarh ordered 70 biryani at one go. Looks like they were already celebrating.
Apart from this, Indians also ordered more than 1 lakh cold drinks during the match. Swiggy posted on Twitter, ‘Today ordered 10,916 and 8,504 packets of Blue Lays (chips) and Green Lays respectively. Undoubtedly Blue is winning here too. The company further said, ‘3,509 condoms were ordered, some players are playing off the field today.’
India’s 8th consecutive win
India bowled out Pakistan for just 191 runs in the much-awaited match in front of over 1,00,000 fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and then won easily by seven wickets.

Talking about the match, due to the strong performance of the bowlers and captain Rohit Sharma’s explosive innings of 86 runs, India defeated arch-rival Pakistan by seven wickets in the World Cup match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday and won the title in the history of the tournament. Maintained its unbeaten streak against Pakistan and registered its eighth consecutive win.

Rohit played a stormy innings
After bowling out Pakistan for 191 runs in 42.5 overs, India completed the hat-trick of victory by scoring 192 runs for three wickets in 30.3 overs, while Pakistan suffered its first defeat in three matches. Chasing an easy target, Rohit again played a stormy innings and hit six fours and six sixes in 86 runs in 63 balls. Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli scored 16-16 runs. Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 53 and KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 19 runs. Shreyas hit the winning four for India and completed his half-century.
