Incursions into a huge network of drug trafficking and fugitives covered by corrupt. They were bringing into the country Ukrainians fleeing conscription

DIICOT prosecutors, accompanied by masked officers, are searching 83 addresses of members of a huge drug, migrant and cigarette trafficking group, as well as the headquarters and workplaces of the institutions that covered the network.

This network operated in Suceava, Bihor, Maramureș, Bistrita Năsăud, Mehedinți and Gorj counties.

For a year, the underworld managed to bring a large number of Ukrainian citizens fleeing conscription into the country, investigators say.
