A Texan pilot is fortunate to be alive after his plane crashes into a huge store sign on the side of the road … sending the ship to the ground.
The incredible video – taken on Saturday in Winnie, TX – shows the plane taking off from Highway 124, cutting off a lamppost and then crashing into a large sign before descending.
Local reports say the plane was used in a parade as a float, and the pilot decided it would take off from the street to return home. Fortunately, the pilot was not injured in the accident, but the accident caused the closure of the street for several hours.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but reports indicate that the windy conditions may have contributed to the pilot’s loss of control of the aircraft.
