At the beginning of her career as an actress, she moved to the city of Bogotá and it is there that she has to go through a “disastrous” experience, as she herself affirms.
According to Marilyn’s account, an actor got her drunk and sexually abused her. Apparently, the man picked her up in her car to go to an event, in which they shared together.
The actress remembers that this subject constantly gave her a drink, until she told him to please take her home, since she was not feeling well.
The next day, with no memory in her mind of what had happened the night before, the woman wakes up totally naked in her house, in a state of complete vulnerability, asking herself multiple questions to which she found no answers.
From that moment on, the woman went through a deep crisis, to the point of pulling her hair, whipping herself, and other physical injuries, because she blamed herself for what had happened.
With a lump in her throat, the artist said that it was not an easy situation and it was her psychologist who helped her face this terrible crisis.
Marilyn says that at that moment she did not have the courage to speak or denounce that difficult event, which is why she wants to leave a message to women who may be going through a similar moment, so that they do not remain silent or allow themselves to be pressured by what they will say about society and dare to denounce facts like this.
