In Jersey City (US state New Jersey) a man apparently had a guardian angel: The 31-year-old fell nine floors from a skyscraper, crashed into the roof of a black BMW 330i – and survived.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday at 10:20 a.m. local time, was observed by several eyewitnesses. And they really couldn’t believe what happened after the fall: The man stood up with his right arm dangling at his side and asked: “What happened?” – that’s how eyewitness Christina Smith (21) describes it to the “New York Post“.

“The rear window of the car broke out – exploded. Then the guy jumped up and started screaming. His arm was all twisted, ”the newspaper quoted Smith. “I thought, ‘Oh my god!’ I was shocked. It was like being in a movie ”.
The young woman called 911. An ambulance took the man to a hospital. According to a Jersey City spokeswoman, the 31-year-old was still in critical condition on Thursday.
According to initial investigations, the man did not work in the building and it was unclear why he was there. According to the police, he refused to give his name and, according to the New York Post, did not cooperate.
