Incredible images of aircraft interiors above lights in Australia (video)

The video above shows views of the interior of two Royal Australian Air Force planes trying to land during the assistance operation that is destroying the country. We note that in addition to the non-existent visibility in the clouds of smoke, the sky has a red-orange hue created by the light of the fires below.

The foreground shows the interior of a C27J Spartan on Saturday 4 January above Mallacoota, a small seaside town in Gippsland, in the state of Victoria, equidistant between Melbourne and Sydney. The second shows the interior of a C130J Hercules on Sunday 5 January above Merimbula, a coastal town in the south-east of New South Wales, not far from Mallacoota.

Firefighters redoubled their efforts on Tuesday to regain control of gigantic wildfires in Australia, taking advantage of punctually less unfavorable weather before a new heat wave in the coming days. Twenty-five people have died since the start of this crisis in September. Over 1,800 houses have been reduced to ashes, as well as around 80,000 km2, an area equivalent to the island of Ireland.
