Increasingly Hot on Social Media, Ganjar Loyalists Expose Anies’ Legacy JIS Ulcers

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) continues to be a byword even though it has been designated as the main arena for opening the 2023 U-17 World Cup grand celebration.

The splendor of JIS, which was able to accommodate 82,000 spectators, caused an uproar. The two camps clashed, argued with each other, and felt they were right.

JIS’ black track record continues to be echoed by a number of parties. One of them is a loyalist of the PDIP presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo Chusnul Chotimah.

Starting from the collapsed JIS guardrail to the access in and out of the stadium initiated by Anies Baswedan, which he considered not to be of a safe standard.

It was known that in July last year, the fence for the northern zone of JIS collapsed right on the day of its inauguration.

“JIS’ black track record, from the collapsed guardrail, entry access, to the JIS Hell that Revealed After the Dewa 19 Concert,” he chattered via his Twitter account @ch_chotimah2, quoted on Monday (14/8/2023).

Coupled with FIFA’s record that JIS turf must be fixed immediately, according to Chusnul it proves that JIS is fixed solely so that it is suitable for international tournaments.

“In addition to the notes from FIFA, the evidence is that JIS has been fixed solely so that it can be used,” he said.

But unfortunately, said Chusnul, the good intentions of President Jokowi and PSSI general chairman Erick Thohir were viewed badly by supporters of the prospective presidential candidate Anies Baswedan.

“But unfortunately the good intentions of Mr. Jokowi and Mr. Erick Thohir were met with insults and slander from Anies’ supporters,” he said regretfully.

The 2023 U-17 World Cup will take place from 10 November to 2 December. There are four stadiums which are the main arenas for this grand world football event.
