If, three months ago, someone said that we would pay PLN 7 and more for diesel, nobody would believe it. Now such prices are commonplace. And unfortunately, for a long weekend there will be no breath from the high prices.
– We noticed that before the picnic, the average price of Pb95 gasoline increased by PLN 0.05 per liter, diesel – by PLN 0.1. And there is no indication that it would be cheaper. On the contrary, we expect that on Friday and Saturday prices at the stations may increase a bit further, says Urszula Cieślak from the Reflex Brokerage House. As he adds, prices on the wholesale market are rising.
Thus, the earlier forecasts of experts published by Fakt come true.
Fuels for a picnic. Shocking increases
For the popular “95” we pay an average of PLN 6.55. This is as much as 24 percent. more than before last year’s picnic. We will refuel diesel for PLN 7.31 – here the price has jumped by 40 percent compared to last year. The price of autogas increased the most, the prices of which increased by 48 percent in a year. The average LPG price is now PLN 3.65.

Unfortunately, the forecasts for gas refuelers are not optimistic. Everything indicates that in the coming weeks, LPG will become even more expensive. This is the effect of … sanctions that Poland had to impose on companies trading with Russia because of the war.
A few days ago, the Ministry of Interior and Administration announced a list of companies that will be subject to sanctions. It was on it, among others Novatek, which not only supplies gas to households in some municipalities in Poland, but also sells LPG from Russia. It is one of the market leaders. Experts and drivers are afraid that it will be even more expensive now and that in a few days the price of autogas will go up to PLN 4.
