Sosok.ID – Taiwan, who is currently in conflict with China expressed his seriousness against all attack.
Known, China insisted on admitting Taiwan as part of his government.
However Taipe rejected the claim, citing that Taiwan is a state that stands alone with a government system separate from China.
Launch focustaiwan.tw, Sunday (20/9/2020), it was stated that Taiwan would not make provocative steps over the matter with china.
But the country will return fire if Chinese troops attack, military sources said on Sunday, amid rising tensions in the Taiwan Strait due to China’s recent incursion into Taiwanese airspace.
In the latest attack, two Chinese bombers and 16 fighter jets crossed the strait median line on Friday (18/9).
A fleet of 19 military aircraft from China flew into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone on Saturday in a brace, a move designed to strike by facing enemies ahead, on both sides, and behind.
On both occasions, the Taiwanese military responded by scrambling the jets, issuing radio alerts to the intruders, and mobilizing surveillance and air defense assets, according to the Ministry of National Defense (MND).
Amid growing threats from China, MND recently held a series of briefings at the Air Force Combat Command.
The goal is to ensure that Taiwanese fighter jet pilots follow protocol for dealing with enemy threats in the air, a military source told CNA.

Taiwan’s military doesn’t know what is the intent behind China’s frequent attacks, but Taiwan wants to prevent any action by its pilots that might accidentally spark cross-strait warfare, said the source, who asked not to be named.
While Beijing has said it will not strike first or fire the first shot in a potential cross-strait war, Beijing has increased its military coercion on Taiwan.
Taiwan will not fire the first shot, but will exercise its right to defend itself and “will definitely retaliate if fired,” said the same source.
Meanwhile, the five-day computer-aided war games segment of Taiwan’s annual Han Kuang exercises, which ended Friday, revealed that its military does not have enough long-range precision missiles for effective defense.
The military will continue its efforts to increase its defensive capabilities in the area amid increasing threats across the strait, the source added.
The computerized war games, held September 14-18, simulated the response of Taiwan’s armed forces to China’s attempted full-scale invasion.
Han Kuang military training, Taiwan’s main annual exercise, is usually held annually in two phases – direct firing and computer-assisted table training.
Meanwhile, direct fire practice was carried out on July 13-17.
According to sources, the United States military has sent a delegation to Taiwan to observe the annual exercise since 2003, but did not do so this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Instead, an office from the American Institute at Taiwan, which represents US interests in Taiwan in the absence of formal diplomatic relations, observing the exercise, said the source.
