Increasingly Diverse, YouTube Gives Options for Video Resolution to Be Saved

Suara.com – Video streaming application YouTube mobile for iOS and Android now has new settings for videos. This new feature is made to make it easier and save user data when watching videos.

Users can now not only select a specific resolution in the video player, but can also switch between three separate modes that support video quality, data usage or whatever works best for the user’s connection.

Users are usually familiar with the ” auto ” mode as the default setting for most videos, which automatically adjusts the video resolution depending on the internet speed.

Reporting from the page The Verge, YouTube has now added a “ higher image quality ” mode which uses more data when not on Wi-Fi and defaults to 720p and a ” data saver ” mode which maximizes 480p.

While this umbrella mode is great for quick customization of specific scenarios for resolution, the user can still dig in and get details with a specific resolution and any resolution adjustment can be tuned for the specific video the user is watching.

YouTube already has resolution settings and ways to keep apps from downloading for a while, but this feature will automatically process data savings and refram in a way that is easier to understand.

YouTube mobile’s new video feature settings aren’t a magic bullet solution, but they make it easier to switch to an operator-acceptable resolution without the user thinking about the data.
