This effort was carried out by the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) with foreign countries. The head of the BNPT, Komjen Pol Boy Rafli Amar, at that time emphasized that international cooperation was important to eradicate terrorism.

“The important thing is the spirit of international cooperation. This is what we must protect against terrorism, ”said Commissioner General for Pol Boy.

Given that the threat to terrorism has not decreased one bit even during the Covid-19 pandemic. Terrorism observer and pinpoint Noor Huda Ismail said that a threat that has attracted attention is the issue of returning ISIS combatants from Indonesia abroad.

“We are still facing a time bomb regarding the possibility of repatriating ex-combatants from Indonesia who are currently in refugee camps, as well as the mobilization of Indonesians in the suit areas of the Philippines, Afghanistan and other countries,” said Noor Huda.
