In calculation, the performance difference for 2021 is the largest since the trend measurement started in 2014, states Directorate of Education.
The average scale score in the bill for girls in the fifth stage is 48, while the boys are at 52 points. In reading, the points are 51 and 49 points, respectively. In English, the girls are at 50 points and the boys at 51 points.
In English, the results have improved somewhat in the last two years, while they are stable in reading and arithmetic.
Among the eighth graders, there are smaller differences compared to the last. There are no changes in average scale points in reading, arithmetic or English from the time you started measuring development over time until 2021.
Among the 8th graders, the boys perform a little better in arithmetic, while the girls perform better in reading. In English it is smoother. The boys have become somewhat stronger in both arithmetic and English compared to the previous year, while the girls perform somewhat weaker in arithmetic.
