The National Security Council noted an increase in threats of attacks against Israeli citizens in a number of Arab countries and states of the Middle East.
“Given the ongoing war, we have seen a significant increase in anti-Israel protests in the last few days in countries around the world, and in particular in the Arab countries of the Middle East. Hostility and violence are being shown against Jewish and Israeli symbols. The rhetoric of global jihad has become more radical, calling for harm to Israelis and Jews around the world,” the NSC said.
Among the countries in particular:
Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Maldives.

Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula inclusive, as well as Jordan, are at alert level 4 (high threat): this means that Israeli citizens should not visit these countries, and those already there are advised to leave as quickly as possible.
Morocco has a threat level of 3: all non-essential travel to the country should be avoided.
In particular, it is not recommended to travel to the Maldives without a travel warning; to the rest – even with a warning.
What preceded this
Let us remind you that on October 7, Hamas militants invaded Israel. After this, Israel launched an operation against Hamas. Its next stage could be a ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that the IDF representative announced preparations for a new stage of the war. An Israeli army spokesman said the operation could take several weeks.
Also yesterday, October 20, Hamas militants released two hostages – US citizens Judith and Natalie Raanan. Biden said this was the result of the work of American officials.
Today, the Rafah checkpoint opened between the Gaza Strip and Egypt. However, only 20 trucks carrying humanitarian aid passed them. Foreigners were unable to evacuate due to the checkpoint.
