MIDDELBURG – The police will be checking more often around the ZEP site in the Mortiere in Middelburg in the near future. The Middelburg police officers warned about this following an inspection on Tuesday.
In about half an hour, police officers managed to issue several fines during checks around the Podium site on Tuesday. These included driving without a valid driver’s license, holding a mobile phone while driving and driving without wearing a seat belt.
According to the police, the reason for the check was nuisance caused by speeding cars and scooters. The area will be checked more often in the near future.
