The tariffe Rc auto are continuously growing, with a significant increase recorded in September 2024. Insurance policy prices have marked a 6.8% increase on an annual basis, reflecting an upward trend in the insurance industry. The average cost of a car liability insurance policy is now around 414 eurohighlighting a burden for motorists compared to the previous year.
Car insurance increase, how much does insurance cost
According to Ivass data, the province of Prato in September it became the most expensive in Italy for car insurance policies, with an average of 601 euro per policy, overcoming Napoliwhere the average cost was 595 euros. On the contrary, Anna the city was confirmed cheaper with an average premium of 294 eurofollowed by Power (305 euro) e Oristano (309 euros). The most marked increases on an annual basis were recorded at Rome and Caltanissettawhere rates increased 11% in September, followed by Catania (+9,7%) e Crotone (+9.4%). The slightest increase occurred at Reggio Calabriawith +1.3%.
