Inconsistently Recorded Company Figures Cause Hesitation on US Stock Markets

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – Inconsistently recorded company figures caused reluctance on the US stock markets on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial closed down 0.23 percent at 33,897.01 points. The broad S&P 500 ended 0.01 percent lower at 4154.52 points. The tech-heavy one Nasdaq 100 dropped 0.02 percent to 13,088.72 points. The indices hardly reacted to the “Beige Book” economic report published by the US Federal Reserve
