INCOIS warns of high waves and storm surges along Kerala coast, advises caution to fishermen and coastal residents

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the black sea phenomenon, the National Center for Oceanography and Research (INCOIS) has informed that there is a possibility of 0.5 to 1.4 meter high waves and storm surge along the Kerala coast till 11.30 pm on Saturday and the speed is likely to vary between 20 cm and 40 cm per second. As part of the black sea phenomenon, there is a possibility of sea attack along the coast of North Tamil Nadu.

Fishermen and coastal residents are advised to be cautious

1. As the rough seas are likely to intensify, stay away from the danger areas as per the instructions of the authorities.
