From September 6 to 22, more than 1,100 disabled athletes and staff from 18 participating units in 16 districts in Beijing, the Yanshan area and the Economic Development Zone will participate in dry land curling, table curling, table tennis, There are competitions in 7 major sports and 36 minor sports including chess, go, badminton, and darts.
At the opening ceremony, three outstanding mass sports projects for people with disabilities selected by Chaoyang District, Daxing District and Beijing Qihe School were performed on-site. After the opening ceremony, the 2023 Beijing Disabled Persons Mini Marathon and Online Marathon kicked off. Athletes with various disabilities from all districts in the city participated in the 3-kilometer and 5-kilometer mini-marathons respectively.
