Inclusion of Maxim Galkin in the “black list” of the Ministry of Culture: explanations of the SBU appeared (document)

The Russian artist, according to the security officials, provoked separatist sentiments and supported the occupation of a part of the country.

The Security Service of Ukraine gave a detailed answer to why the Russian comedian Maxim Galkin was included in the “black list” of the Ministry of Culture, because of which he is now banned from activities on the territory of the country. This was reported by APnews.

According to the law enforcement agency, the reason for the inclusion of the Russian artist in the list of persons who are prohibited from operating in Ukraine was his actions to the detriment of the country.

Galkin allegedly provoked separatist sentiments, created conditions for violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine and supported the temporary occupation of part of the country by Russia.

The SBU did not give specific examples of Galkin’s specified activities.

As you know, the Russian comedian and TV presenter Maxim Galkin was on the “black list” of the Ministry of Culture on November 3. Artists from this list are prohibited from operating in Ukraine and showing projects and films with their participation. The list was recently updated and added more than 30 Russian cultural figures. There are more than 200 persons in the list.
