Incidents Seizing Corona Patients’ Bodies from Ambulances, Coffins Are Also Burned

KOMPAS.TV – Dozens of residents in Bondowoso, East Java, took action to seize the bodies of corona patients. They opened the coffin, then buried the body in the normal way.

The incident began when an ambulance officer carried the body of a patient who was confirmed to be corona from the Koesnadi Hospital to the cemetery that had been provided.

However, residents then blocked the ambulance and forcibly took the coffin, opened the coffin, and buried the body without using the Covid-19 protocol.

After removing the body, the residents then cremated the coffin. The act of seizing bodies and cremating coffins is further in policy research.
