A customer at a McDonald’s restaurant in Ohio, USA, found a nose piercing in a burger. She claims to have had her stomach turned for two days. The establishment did not apologize.
A bad surprise. Monday, June 17, an American went to a McDonald’s, located in the State of Ohio in the United States, to place an order. After picking up her meal, the customer went home.
After a few bites, the young woman realized that there was a lot of mayonnaise and lettuce in her burger. “I took a fry to wipe the side, and I heard a ‘plop’ in the box. It was a nose piercing,” she told WHIO.coma local television channel.
Disgusted by what she has just discovered, the young woman then decided to take a few photos of the nasal piercing to report the incident before throwing the food in the trash. “It was a nose piercing that was worn by someone,” she said, adding that she “had an upset stomach for about two days.”
Immediately, the young woman reported this discovery to the manager of McDonald’s and on the restaurant’s application. Nevertheless, after a few days of waiting, no apology would have been presented to him any more than a proposal for reimbursement.
“All I wanted from the start was for recognition, I feel like I’ve been ignored,” the client said.
After an inspection of the restaurant, the Dayton & Montogomery County Public Health Office said “we found nothing today to indicate any food preparation issues.”
