The RKI reports an incidence below 30 for Berlin on Friday. The number of registered deaths is three.
Such is the current corona situation in the capital.
Friday 4th June: Incidence value below 30
The Robert Koch Institute reported a seven-day incidence of 28.7 for the state of Berlin on Friday. The number of new infections is 183 and three deaths have been recorded.
Thursday June 3rd: Incidence value drops to 31.4
For Berlin there is a seven-day incidence of 31.4 on Thursday. The number of new infections registered is 192. In addition, two deaths were reported.
Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, 178,748 people have tested positive for Covid-19. 3,499 of them died.
Wednesday June 2nd: Incidence drops to 33.0
On Wednesday, the RKI reported an incidence of 33.0 for the state of Berlin. The value has fallen slightly compared to the previous day. There were also 196 new infections and twelve deaths reported.
Tuesday, June 1st: Incidence value increases slightly
The Robert Koch Institute reported a slightly increased incidence of 33.6 on Tuesday morning in Berlin. In addition, 141 new infections were registered and four more deaths related to Covid-19.
Monday May 31: Second consecutive day with no deaths
On Monday, the incidence fell slightly again to 32.6. There were 18 registered new infections and no reported deaths related to the coronavirus.
Sunday, May 30th: Corona value is falling again
The incidence value for Berlin fell again on Sunday and is 32.8. In addition, 21 new infections were registered. Covid-19-related deaths have not been reported.
Saturday, May 29th: the incidence value rises again
For the second day in a row, the seven-day incidence in Berlin rose. It is currently at 36.0. According to the RKI, 285 new infections and 17 deaths were also registered.
Easings will probably come earlier than planned
Due to the sharp drop in the corona incidence values in Berlin, the Senate is now apparently planning earlier easing. We are currently looking into the possibility of bringing the planned opening steps forward by 14 days.
Friday, May 28th: Incidence value increased slightly
After three days of falling incidence, the value rose slightly on Friday and is back at 35.0. In addition, the RKI reports 281 new infections and five more deaths.
Thursday May 27th: Incidence continues to decline
The positive trend continues on Thursday as well. The seven-day incidence in Berlin drops to 34.1. The number of new infections is 119 and the Robert Koch Institute reports six deaths related to Covid-19.
On the third day after Pentecost, the RKI also points out that the data may be falsified due to lower data volumes over the past weekend.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 177,655 people in Berlin have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. 3,460 of them died.
Soon to be present again at Berlin universities
The corona incidence value in Berlin is stable below the critical 100 mark. After outdoor catering and culture were allowed to open in the fresh air last week, the universities could soon follow suit.
From June 4, the around 25,000 teachers and 200,000 students in Berlin will have access to their teaching and study rooms again. There are already detailed plans for implementation.
Wednesday May 26th: Seven-day value drops below 40
The incidence continues to decline on Wednesday as well. According to the RKI, it is 39.3. 230 new infections and 14 deaths were registered.
The RKI also notes that there may be irregularities in the corona data due to the Whitsun weekend.
Tuesday, May 25th: the incidence value drops below 50
On Tuesday, the RKI reported a seven-day incidence of 46.5 for Berlin. This means that the incidence is below the 50 mark for the first time since October 2020. In addition, 76 new infections and one death were registered.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 177,305 people in Berlin have tested positive for Covid-19. 3,440 of them died.
Monday, May 24th: Incidence increases minimally
On Whit Monday, the RKI reports an incidence of 55.9 for Berlin. The value has increased accordingly by 0.4. 50 new infections and one death were registered.
The Robert Koch Institute points out, however, that there may be irregularities due to the lower number of registrations due to the extended weekend with Whitsun holidays.
