The corona incidence in Munich has fallen by two points. In addition, there was no death for the second day in a row.

The Robert Koch Institute reports an incidence of 28.3 for Tuesday morning. In addition, 17 new infections were reported. There were no new deaths.

Monday, May 31st: Incidence remains unchanged

On Monday, the RKI reported an unchanged seven-day incidence of 30.7 for Munich. There were 50 new infections and no new deaths.

Sunday May 30th: Incidence value increases minimally

On Sunday, the corona incidence in Munich was 30.7 and thus marginally higher than the day before. There were also 62 new infections and one death registered.

Saturday, May 29th: The seven-day value remains constant

The incidence value in Munich is unchanged compared to the previous day at 30.4. 85 new infections and two deaths were registered.

Friday, May 28th: ​​Corona value continues to fall

Also on Friday the incidence value in Munich was 30.4 below that of the previous day. The number of new infections reported is 102. There were also three new deaths registered.

No public viewing for the EM in the Olympic Park

In Munich and large parts of Bavaria, the incidence values ​​are falling and the first easing is taking effect. Nevertheless, the city has now decided not to hold any public viewing events in the Olympic Park.

The European Football Championship starts on June 11th, the German team will intervene in Munich on June 15th. It is currently unclear whether spectators will be admitted to the games in the Allianz Arena.

Thursday May 27th: Incidence value continues to decline

In Munich, the seven-day incidence fell again. It is now 34.9. There were also 94 new infections and two deaths reported.

A total of 72,205 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Munich since the beginning of the pandemic. 1,236 of them died.

On the third day after Pentecost, the RKI also points out that the data may be falsified due to lower data volumes over the past weekend.

Wednesday, May 26th: The seven-day value drops again

The incidence value in Munich fell again on Wednesday. According to the RKI, it is 38.7. There were also 87 new infections and one registered death.

The RKI also notes that there may be irregularities in the corona data due to the Whitsun weekend.

Tuesday, May 25th: the incidence value drops significantly

On Tuesday morning, the RKI reported an incidence value of 43.8 and 39 new infections for the city of Munich. Fortunately, no new deaths were recorded.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 72,025 people in Munich have tested positive for Covid-19. 1,233 of them died.

Monday, May 24th: incidence back below 50

On Whit Monday, the RKI reports a seven-day incidence of 49.7. In addition, 82 new infections and one death were registered.

The Robert Koch Institute points out, however, that there may be irregularities due to the lower number of registrations due to the extended weekend with Whitsun holidays.

Sunday May 23: Incidence increases 10 counts

On Sunday, the RKI reported a significantly increased incidence value of 53.5. In addition, 258 new infections were registered for the city and four deaths were reported.

Saturday May 22nd: incidence back below 50

According to the RKI, the incidence value for Munich on Saturday is 43.1. Data on new infections and deaths were not reported today.

Friday, May 21st: the incidence rises again

On the second day in a row, the incidence value rose in Munich and is now over 50 again at 51.5. The Robert Koch Institute also reported 180 new infections and three deaths in connection with Covid-19.

A total of 71,648 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since the pandemic began. 1,228 of them died.

Thursday, May 20: Incidence value increases marginally

The incidence value for Munich was 47.6 on Thursday, which is 0.3 points higher than the previous day. The health authorities also reported 204 new infections and three other deaths.

Wednesday: May 19: Incidence drops below 50

On Wednesday morning, the Robert Koch Institute for the city of Munich reported an incidence value of 47.3. The last time it was on March 6th was below the 50 mark. The city also reports 156 new infections and two deaths related to Covid-19 today.

Tuesday, May 18: incidence is falling again

After a brief increase on Monday, the seven-day value fell again on Tuesday and is now 53.8. 122 new infections and three deaths related to Covid-19 have been reported.

Monday, May 17th: Incidence value increases slightly

At the beginning of the new week, the RKI reports a slightly increased incidence of 54.3 for the city of Munich. 85 new infections were registered – there were no new deaths.

Since the pandemic began, 70,988 people in Munich have tested positive for Covid-19. 1,217 of them died.
