Only a few days after the shops opened, the city of Würzburg has to be prepared for stricter corona regulations. This Friday, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports a seven-day incidence value that is above the limit of 50 for the third time in a row. The RKI gave a number of 59.4 on Friday morning.
The incidence value in the city had already risen above the 50 mark on Wednesday and Thursday, after having been below it for a long time. An incidence of 51.6 had been reported on Wednesday and 61.8 on Thursday.
Now the regulations of the step-by-step plan are taking effect
The regulations of the Corona step-by-step plan now apply for an incidence phase of over 50 to 100. However, the stricter rules do not yet apply on Saturday. The day after crossing the border three times is a “parental leave day”, on which the new regulations are officially announced by the city administration.
For the incidence phase from over 50 to 100, the following applies from Sunday:
- Appointment shopping in retail: 1 customer per 40 square meters, appointment booking, contact data collection
- Museums / galleries, zoos, botanical gardens, memorials: visit with appointment booking and contact collection
- Non-contact individual sport: a maximum of 5 people from 2 households or a maximum of 20 children under 14 years of age
With an incidence of up to 100, however, the openings of grocery stores, drug stores, etc. as well as bookstores, hardware stores and flower shops remain unchanged. The contact restrictions do not change either.
The three-day rule also applies to the way back
A three-day rule also applies to the return to the greater easing, as applied this week in Würzburg: the incidence value must be below 50 for three days in a row, then another day of the announcement, and then the new ones apply Regulate.

However, should the incidence develop in the opposite direction and rise to over 100 on three days in a row, will the so-called “emergency brake” apply after the announcement day? in essence, these are the rules of the hard lockdown that were in place until the beginning of March.
However, the stricter rules do not apply to the Würzburg district. Here the incidence on Friday is 37.6 and thus further below the 50 limit.
