Incidence remains unchanged – no new deaths

The seven-day incidence in Hamburg remained the same for the second day in a row. Fortunately, no new deaths were reported.

The incidence value on Friday in Hamburg is 24.5 as on the previous day. The Robert Koch Institute also reports 79 new infections. No new deaths were reported.

The RKI reported a seven-day incidence of 24.5 on Thursday. The number of new infections registered is 49. There was also a new death.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 76,386 people in Hamburg have tested positive for Covid-19. 1,566 of them died.

On Saturday morning, the RKI again reported a lower incidence for Hamburg. The value is currently 28.0. In addition, 85 new infections were registered. Fortunately, there were no deaths.

Friday, May 28th: ​​the incidence value falls below 30

The seven-day value in Hamburg was 28.7 on Friday and was below the 30 mark for the first time since September 30th last year. The city also reports 79 new infections and nine registered deaths.

Thursday May 27th: Incidence continues to decline

The seven-day incidence in Hamburg continues to develop positively. The value drops on the third day and is now 32.3. The city’s health authorities are reporting 76 new infections and three deaths.

Since the pandemic began, 75,932 people in Hamburg have tested positive for Covid-19. 1,548 of them died.

On the third day after Pentecost, the RKI also points out that the data may be falsified due to lower data volumes over the past weekend.

Wednesday, May 26th: Incidence value drops slightly

For the city of Hamburg, the incidence value on Wednesday was 38.5, one point below the value of the previous day. 39 new infections were registered. According to the RKI, there were no deaths.

The RKI also notes that there may be irregularities in the corona data due to the Whitsun weekend.

In Hamburg, the incidence value fell to below 40 for the first time since October 2020. The value is 39.5. According to the RKI, there were 68 new infections and no further deaths.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 75,817 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Hamburg. 1,545 of them died.

Monday, May 24th: Incidence value increases minimally

On Whit Monday, the city of Hamburg reports a corona incidence of 41.0. The value is thus marginally higher than the day before. The city’s health authorities also reported 84 new infections. There were no new deaths.

The Robert Koch Institute points out, however, that there may be irregularities due to the lower number of registrations due to the extended weekend with Whitsun holidays.
