DARMSTADT-DIEBURG – The health department reported 74 new corona infections on Thursday. However, the incidence in the district, the number of confirmed new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, continues to decrease slightly to 111. Thus, a total of 6259 people in Darmstadt-Dieburg have been proven to have contracted the virus since the pandemic began. There are three new deaths, so 147 district residents have died of or with Corona since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the district clinics, 33 corona patients are currently being treated in the district clinics: 17 of them in the Groß-Umstadt normal ward and five in the intensive care unit. In the Jugenheim hospital, 16 patients receive intensive care.
