As a result of the inspection, pesticides exceeding the allowable standards were detected in one case of Altari agricultural products, and distribution was immediately blocked and the entire quantity was discarded.
In addition, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the competent administrative agency were urgently notified of this fact, and shipments of the relevant agricultural products producers to the nationwide agricultural wholesale markets were restricted for one month.
Incheon City plans to continue to strengthen inspection of agricultural products during major periods, including the kimchi season, so that citizens can purchase agricultural products with confidence.
