The Tulungagung Regency Nahdlatul Ulama Scholars Association (ISNU) Branch Management (PC) was officially inaugurated. Chair of the ISNU East Java Regional Management (PW), Prof. Mas’ud Said, revealed that the ISNU cadres in Tulungagung were very proud.
“I imagine (the inauguration) being witnessed by angels, community members, ulama, prominent figures, if you dlewerYes, take care of it yourself later. “I’m super confident, no kidding, Tulungagung is extraordinary,” said Prof Mas’ud at the Kongasarum Kusumaningbongso Pendopo, Saturday (14/10/2023).
He remembered from 2018 to 2019 when he carried out the mandate of ISNU East Java, with the motto ‘ISNU Strong, NU dignified and East Java Prosperous’. According to him, NU is dignified in itself, including the ideological and strategic ideology of peaceful Islam as the first reason ISNU was founded.
“I congratulate you, I can’t hold back my emotions every time I inaugurate my friends. (ISNU) looks charming, looks big, and is really active. So, strategically for the next 10 to 25 years NU will be in Tulungagung forever,” he explained.
This professor at the Islamic University of Malang admitted that the development of ISNU in various regions in East Java was massive after the cadres finished college. Including in Malang, Prof. Mas’ud said that many graduates from state campuses such as Brawijaya University, Malang State University, UIN Malang, flocked and were proud to enter ISNU.
“Of the 33 branches, there are special branches such as Islamic boarding schools in Nurul Jadid, then campuses such as UB to UIN,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Tulungagung ISNU PC, H Mochamad Rifai, revealed that the inauguration of the Tulungagung Regency ISNU for the 2023-2028 solemn period used the theme ‘Strong ISNU, Great Tulungagung, Dignified NU’. This means that the professional awakening at NU has an impact on morale and benefits others.
“Then we serve for NU and continue to fight for the development of all members of the community in Tulungagung,” he said.
Not only that, this inauguration moment is also a means of launching early detection of cervical cancer which is intended for women and the elderly. The first test was carried out for 100 people for free by Biofarma, Dr Iskak Regional Hospital and the Tulungagung Health Service. This added an additional 200 residents, so that a total of 300 participants took the cervical cancer test.
