Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Ciliwung River Sodetan Project, which had been stalled, has been inaugurated by President Joko Widodo. Then the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), which is a candidate for the venue for the U-17 World Cup, is busy being discussed because it is said to not meet FIFA standards.
Both are projects made by the future presidential candidate (Bacapres) Anies Baswedan from the Coalition for Change, when he was Governor of DKI Jakarta. Anies also opened his voice about the two projects.
Regarding the Ciliwung River Sodetan project, Anies admitted that he was not afraid that this project would have to be audited later.
“And please just be assessed later, audited, you can see, what month did you do for the last 8 years, 9 years, 10 years. And this is not something new, yes, this was done across time,” said Anies at his private residence in the Lebak Bulus area, Jakarta, Tuesday (1/7).
Quoting CNN Indonesia, however, Anies is grateful that the Ciliwung Sodetan project has been completed. For him, in each phase of leadership in Jakarta there must be a portion of each project. He also emphasized that working on a large project would definitely take a long time.
“There is a process behind the ceremony and in that process let those who have the facts see later. What is important for us, thank God, has been completed,” he added.
On this occasion, Anies also spoke about JIS. He said he was happy if JIS was used at the U-17 World Cup event in Indonesia.
“We hope that the holding of the U-17 World Cup will have good facilities and that Indonesia’s good name will be maintained,” said Anies.
Anies assessed that all the facilities at JIS were quite good. According to him, JIS can accommodate up to 80 thousand spectators and has other luxury facilities.
“Let the world see, in Indonesia there is a place that can facilitate 80,000 people, the roof can be closed, even when it rains it can be used, the facilities have the principle of a green building. We are grateful for all of this. And for technical matters, let the technical people solve it. ,” he exclaimed.
