Hanoi (VNA)-The Contemporary Art Exhibition Space officially opened today at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts in Hanoi.
According to a representative of the Museum, this event presents 65 works of various genres of painting, graphics and sculpture from 1986 to the present, helping the public to have a more complete view of Vietnamese fine arts.
By visiting the exhibition, viewers will have the opportunity to enjoy contemporary works that reflect the breath of real life through the multidimensional perspectives of many artists.
At the opening ceremony, the director of the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, Nguyen Anh Minh, said that since 1986, the renovation process has breathed new life, bringing more vitality and inspiration to the artistic creation of Vietnamese painters and sculptors.
Artists quickly and selectively acquire many new trends and creative thoughts from abroad, gradually improving the expression of Vietnamese fine art, a rich artistic tradition, imbued with originality and national identity, which brings the breath of the times, he said.
With the adjustment and expansion of the contemporary art space this time, we hope to help the art-loving public to feel and experience reality through the multidimensional perspectives of artists, as a contribution to educating the public’s sense of responsibility, creating a safe and healthy living environment towards sustainable development, said Anh Minh./.
