For the Government of El Salvador, the strengthening of art and culture is vital for the comprehensive development of the country, and dance is a vital area for this purpose; For this reason, the Ministry of Culture announced the beginning of the school year of the Morena Celarié National Dance School.
The opening of the school year of this important training center took place at the Teatro Presidente of San Salvador, and included the participation of the specialties of ballet, contemporary dance, folk dance, predance and eurythmy.
“We are inaugurating the school year for the National Dance School in all programs, that is: folk dance, contemporary dance, ballet, predance and eurythmy. All courses for boys, girls and young people who had already been with us in previous years start classes today, this is the celebration of the beginning of the school year,” said the Minister of Culture, Mariemm Pleitez.
The event was attended by the management team, teachers, students and administrative staff, who announced the educational objectives and the schedule of activities for the year 2024.
“It is also an invitation for people who want to join the National Dance School, its programs for children, youth and also for adults. We extend an invitation, this time much more striking, for boys and girls to come together to share the stage, it is a luxury that we can do here, from the Ministry of Culture with the National Dance School for the Salvadoran people,” added the head of the bouquet.
In addition, this moment was used to present the staff in charge of each specialty, as well as the administrative staff, and as a special example of the academic processes, attendees enjoyed a dance performance by the school’s students of each specialty.
