Inaugural Meeting of Pravasi World Malayalee Council in Bahrain: Aims to Address Expatriate Issues and Solutions

Bahrain: The inaugural meeting of Pravasi World Malayalee Council, formed with the intention of understanding the problems of expatriates and bringing them together to find solutions to their problems, was held on 5 and 6 January 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bahrain.

The founder and advisory chairman of Pravasi World Malayali Council Dr. Rajmohan Pillai, President Jo. Jacob Eppen, Vice President, Global Secretary, Global Treasurer, Satyajit Nair, Bahrain Event Chairperson Lizzie K. Varghese, Joint Secretary and Bahrain Coordinator attended the event, which was attended by many prominent businessmen from around the world.

Indian Embassy Second Secretary Ravi Kumar Jain was the chief guest. Various matters beneficial to expatriates were discussed including the implementation of various industrial ventures worth more than 1000 crores. Bahrain’s leading Tik Tok conglomerate, BBH, screened short films on the company’s expat issues at the meeting.

The office bearers informed that the next meeting of the organization will be held in UK under the auspices of Chairman Biju Kosi.
