Abu Dhabi: UAE rejects racist remarks by EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell The UAE is of the opinion that the remarks are inadequate and discriminatory.

The UAE noted that references to values such as pluralism, coexistence and tolerance and the moment everyone is aware are disappointing. The European Union’s observation was that Europe is a garden, but most of the world is a forest and the forest can invade the garden. Several countries have spoken out against the claim that it leads to intolerance and discrimination.
The UAE also asked the acting head of the EU delegation to the UAE, Emil Poulsen, to provide a written explanation on the matter.
