“INAPA 2023: Southeast Asia’s Largest Electric Vehicle Exhibition for B2B Transactions”

Special parts exhibition electric vehicle titled Indonesia International Auto Parts Accessories & Equip Exhibition or INAPA 2023 will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran from 24 to 26 May. Interestingly, youth under the age of 18 are prohibited from attending the location.

Director of GEM Indonesia as the exhibition promoter, Baki Lee said, INAPA 2023 would be different from other exhibitions in general. This is because INAPA 2023 does not focus on B2C sales, but on B2B or transactions between businesses.

“So 90 percent of the exhibition participants are the spare parts industry, apart from that there are other supporting industries including vehicle brands. I haven’t got the list yet, but there were around 1,000 participants who attended the exhibition,” Baki Lee told detikOto in Jakarta, Wednesday (10 /5).

INAPA 2023 is the 12th edition of the exhibition after being stopped for three years due to the pandemic. According to Baki Lee, this year’s INAPA will be held simultaneously with INABIKE 2023, Lube Indonesia 2023, EV Indonesia 2023, Tire & Rubber Indonesia 2023, INAFASTENER 2023, Transport & Logistics Indonesia 2023 and IIBT 2023.

“This exhibition was enlivened by participants from 21 countries and spread across 9 different halls with an area of ​​25 thousand sqm,” he said.

Even though it was stated that 1,000 participants were present at INAPA 2023, Baki Lee could not break down in detail the names of the participants, including which vehicle brand holder agents (APM) were involved. He only claimed that this event would be one of the largest EV exhibitions in Southeast Asia.

“This is the largest and most prestigious exhibition in Southeast Asia and we are targeting to bring in more than 35 thousand visitors from 40 countries,” he said.

Teenagers Prohibited from Attending INAPA 2023

Furthermore, Baki Lee emphasized that INAPA 2023 entrance tickets are free, aka no fees. The only requirement is to register online through the exhibition’s official website. However, it should be noted, youth under the age of 18 may not attend the location.

“Entry ticket free. If you want to register, you must online no charge. But youth under 18 years are not allowed to enter. This is because the focus is on B2B to attract business people,” he said.

Apart from exhibitions, INAPA 2023 will also present educational seminars attended by speakers and experts in the field of electric vehicles.
