The first episode of the television series Right to knowproduced by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI), It will premiere today at 10:00 p.m., through the Congress Channel.
The purpose of this production is to promote the rights of access to information and protection of personal data among society.
The Serie Right to know is the product of a collaboration agreement signed between the INAI and the Senate of the Republic in July 2021 and contemplates the broadcast of 15 chapters, each with a duration of 30 minutes, which will be broadcast weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays. broadcast on Friday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Each issue will have the participation of a commissioner from the INAI plenary.
In the first chapter, the commissioner president of INAI will participate, White Lilia Ibarra Cadena, and the central theme will be “The present and the future of the right of access to information and the protection of personal data in Mexico.”

“Those of us who make up this plenary session are convinced and convinced that this INAI space on the Congress Channel will be from and for the citizens, where it will be promoted that people recognize the right of access to information a key that allows them to exercise other human rights, and in the protection of their personal data, a new and permanent rule of life”, he stated.

The INAI He explained that each chapter will seek to make educational contributions on topics of interest to citizens. Each issue is made up of three sections: the first, called “Citizen Vision” in which a survey of people on the subject to be discussed will be presented, from which the first section of analysis and debate will be developed, which will conclude with the capsule “Exercise your right”, where the person invited will guide the audience on how to exercise their right to information.
The second stage it is called “Digital Environment”, in which the results of the social listening carried out in digital media on the topic of conversation will be presented, to continue the debate; and the third dedicated to the “Conclusions”, in which the host and the guest will make a balance on the subject analyzed.
Topics to be covered in each chapter They will be linked to the different INAI specialty areas: transparency, access to public information, personal data protection, archives, editorial work, promotion of protected rights, open government, National Transparency System, National Transparency Platform, international work, among others, the agency specified.
The production of the series has been conceptualized and developed entirely by the staff of the General Directorate of Social Communication and Disseminationwith human and material resources of the Institute, so it is a completely original series, whose rights belong to INAI.
