“I want to tell how inappropriate behavior we had at Plovdiv airport. Only two flights were planned – to Memmingen, Germany and to Stansted, Great Britain. The first was canceled and the second, ours, was seriously delayed.
An inadequate employee at the airport announced over the megaphone: “Important information. About the flight to Germany. The pilot decided not to land in Plovdiv. He will not come. He landed in Sofia.” After another 5 minutes, the female employee chimed in again: “Passengers, your flight has been cancelled.”
Then he announced about our flight that there would be a delay because the plane had broken down. He said: “Sorry, passengers, the plane that is for you has broken down. There is a technical problem, we are waiting for engineers from Italy to possibly fix it. Pray that they come. Pray that they fix your plane.”
After 4 hours of waiting, the same employee announced that she had no information and could not tell us anything. We had already checked in, many of the passengers wanted to abandon the flight. This attitude is outrageous and the behavior is scandalous!
However, an engineer from Italy arrived, but our wait continued and at some point the employee got involved with the words: “Passengers, well, well, ahhh, the damage has been fixed, but the crew’s working hours are over, so I don’t know what we’re going to do”. Finally, he shouted quickly, quickly that we had moved towards the plane.
The behavior was terrible, there were many foreigners among the passengers, and all the messages were without English translation. Unprofessional and inadequate treatment of nearly 400 travelers.”
Eventually the plane to Stansted Airport, London took off after a 6 hour delay.
