The authorities of INACAP Rancagua Headquarters made a positive assessment after their participation in ExpoMinería Sur 2024, which took place from August 27 to 29 at the El Teniente Stadium, Rancagua.
The fair, which brought together more than 100 local and national exhibitors from sectors such as production, security, engineering, services, mechanics, transport and electricity, stood out as a crucial meeting point to highlight the importance of mining in the O’Higgins Region. In this context, the fundamental role played by technicians and professionals in the quality of the processes and services that are part of the companies in the sector was highlighted.
ExpoMinería Sur 2024 allowed attendees to learn about the latest advances in technology, mechanics, robotics, security, industrial maintenance, electronics and mechatronics in the sector. These areas are closely linked to the technical-professional training offered by INACAP Rancagua Campus, which responds to the needs of the country’s productive and service sectors and their rapid evolution. Vice-Chancellor Angelo Palazzi Lander highlighted: “We are at ExpoMinería adding value from the perspective of regional human capital. We have a technical-professional training of recognized excellence at the undergraduate level and Continuing Education (courses and diplomas) related to maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation & Robotics, Mechanics and Electromobility, areas of high demand in this sector.”
Visitors to the fair, including students, businesspeople, workers, executives and the general public, had the opportunity to see the cutting-edge technological equipment presented by teachers and students in the areas of Mechanics, Automation and Robotics at the INACAP Rancagua Campus stands. Together with the Continuing Education Department, they presented a fundamental part of our institutional work.
