Ina Paule Klink in the riverboat: She leads a “double life”!
–
By Björn Strauss
Leipzig / Berlin / Munster – The most recent Friday evening panel discussion in the MDR “Riverboat“was absolutely entertaining. That Wolfgang “Lippi” Lippert (68) “only” stepped in, you didn’t notice at all – the “Erna comes” singer Ina Paule Klink (41) interviewed brilliantly. And then something came to light! “Playboy”, “Wilsberg“, Horses,” Borchert “, music … So full pot!
–
By the way, she doesn’t react to the name Ina. “She is PAULE!” Point!
She started acting at the age of 13 – that’s when she had her first role. “Good times, bad times” followed. From “SOKO Leipzig” to the “Bullen von Tölz”, the “Zürich-Krimi” and “Wilsberg”, it cannot be overlooked on TV. After all, she was “the Alex” at “Wilsberg” for 20 years.
Last summer then the “bang”, as Lippi calls it: her exit. Why? If the “Playboy” title was a coincidence, Lippi wants to know exactly. “Send pictures that we see there,” says the 68-year-old and after a comment from the presenter Kim Fisher (51), quickly rows back: “Um, nice to look at!”
“Playboy is just art!” Says the sympathetic clinic. “As an Ossi, it is more likely that you undress …” laughs Paule. “Yes, it was a coincidence that with Playboy and not a PR gag to Wilsberg-Aus”

Wilsberg exit with a “boom!”
And why is she now putting an end to the quota bringer “Wilsberg”? “I’ve always been someone who jumps in at the deep end. I’m a gut person! I decided – after much deliberation, it was a process. The nice thing is that I left in love and gratitude. I still have a lot of contact to the ‘old Wilsberg family’ in Münster … ”
So no bad blood – that wouldn’t go with the open-hearted Paule at all. We learn that as a child she wanted to marry her dad.
In addition, her first name was “impossible” in the GDR. Getting Paule into the birth certificate – an impossibility! Her name was indeed very worrying! Because Paule – a boy’s name – in the East, getting your ID card was difficult.
And here, too, “Wilsberg” helped, because during a break in filming she discovered in an old book from the famous antiquarian bookshop in Münster that “Paule” is also a French woman’s name – and so it finally worked after the reunification, officially Ina PAULE Klink to have in the ID.
And why actually Paule? Because she was supposed to be a boy, jokes the 41-year-old … now we know that too.

“You also lead a double life,” says Lippi
Lippi suddenly asks about her “double life” – that as a “horse woman”. At first she looks confused. And tells that she has a riding stable in Berlin, after all 22 horses are ready to “learn to ride”! Her horse “Pummel” is also there, “a mighty Holstein show jumping horse”, as she raves. And she loves to tackle: “The more mucking out, the better.”
In addition to her double horse life and acting, Klink has another “much bigger” passion: she sings.
“I always wanted to be a singer – and I also applied for the Mini Playback Show – that didn’t work because girls were supposed to imitate girls earlier”, that’s how it was in the 90s … Now she sings herself and also writes her lyrics.

TV tip: Back to “Wilsberg” – after 20 years she hangs the “antiquarian nail” on the wall. Even without acting training, Paule will continue to be on TV – so in “Borchert crime thriller“next week and one last time with the good old” Wilsberg “. By the way, it runs on February 20th in ZDF!
