Tourists in the Žďár region can now refresh themselves with a chilled beer or lemonade. Just have a few small pockets. The so-called “Vorl’s beer pit” is open 24 hours a day. A unique beer pit is by the hiking trail near Studnice in the Žďár region.
It is an insulated box buried in the ground with a treasure chest. The idea came to Mr. Vitásek, who has a cottage nearby. It took him one afternoon to put the beer pit into operation.
“People here follow the tourist sign, so I thought I would make it easier for them to have a beer,” said Mr. Vojtěch Vitásek. According to tourists, this is a great idea.
Mr. Vitásek must replenish supplies every week. It can hold 32 beers and ten lemonades. The price is the same – twenty crowns. “People give more, for which I thank them and I promise that I will continue to add so that they can come here for a beer,” concluded Mr. Vitásek.
If there is interest, it does not prevent the beer pit from being supplied even during the winter, when a lot of cross-country skiers cross Žďár.
