Specialists of the Medical Center will apply several methods of bariatric surgery, which allow to achieve weight loss with varying degrees of effectiveness. This is gastric bypass surgery, adjustable gastric banding, sleeve gastroplasty, biliopancreatic bypass surgery. All these operations are performed by laparoscopy – without large incisions.

As doctors explain, weight loss is a long process, and bariatric surgery is only the first step. After surgery, a whole team of doctors is engaged in the patient – endocrinologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, the press service of the department said.
