In Torchyn, Lutsk district, Volyn region, a company of drunken men attacked an ATO veteran. The incident happened near a public stop.
The relevant footage from the scene was published by the eyewitness Ivanna Ulitovskaya in Facebook group “Torchin SOS”.
Details of the incident
According to the woman, the man was waiting at the bus stop and talking on the phone. At that moment, a company of unknown people approached him and began to “pester” him. An eyewitness noted that they were all intoxicated.
The man asked the company to move away from him, but in response they attacked him, and as a result he was injured. Eyewitness Ivanna said that the police and an ambulance were called to the scene.
“The police arrived and promised, of course, to sort out this situation, but indignation simply has no boundaries … Imagine that in the place of this soldier, he was in the ATO zone for several years and defended our families, maybe your dad or son, or a daughter … We didn’t have time to get to know a man during this short and terrible period, but he is a courageous person who survived. I don’t know how this whole situation will end, but I want you all to know our local “heroes” by sight ” – wrote the woman.
