The animals were caught by the police, the circus, and the Austrian Railway. The “Runaways” were subsequently returned to the circus.
Several lamas on Friday, June 2, ran away from the circus in Vienna, which temporarily paralyzed the work of the city railways. This is stated in the message of the Austrian railway on Twitter.
“A small interruption in the work of city trains for a ridiculous reason: llamas are on the tracks. Now they are back in their circus!” the company said.
The Austrian press agency noted that all the llamas were caught in 20 minutes, none of them were injured. The police, the circus and the Austrian Railway took part in the operation to return the animals.
