The body of the 19-year-old soldier was sent for a forensic medical examination to establish the cause of his death.
In Uzhgorod, the body of a serviceman was found, who disappeared on June 23. A military man, a resident of the Rivne region, left on June 10 to have a rest in nature and disappeared, but his search began only on June 23, informs on Tuesday the police of the Transcarpathian region.
Policemen, dog handlers, National Guard soldiers and rescuers were involved in the search. Day and night, they examined the territories adjacent to the city, markets, train stations and public institutions of the region, and also checked the recordings from CCTV cameras.
“A thorough search lasted almost five days. In the end, the body of a guy with no signs of life was removed by divers from a quarry in a microdistrict of the regional center,” the message says.
