From April 9, the red level of epidemiological danger is introduced in the Zaporozhye and Khmelnytsky regions. This was announced by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov in the Telegram channel on Wednesday, April 7.
According to him, the relevant decision was made by the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies at an extraordinary meeting.
Restrictions on the red zone will take effect in these areas from 00:00 a.m. on April 9th.
As you know, before that 11 regions were in the red zone Ukraine – 10 regions and the city of Kiev. The Ministry of Health updated the list of quarantine zones on April 5.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that the Cabinet loosened restrictions for the red zone of quarantine… In regions with a red level of epidemic danger, trade in planting material and the work of dry cleaners were allowed.
Also, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that there is no need for a lockdown… According to him, in some regions from the red zone, the situation with the incidence is improving. The authorities hope that the trend will continue.
Recall that over the past 24 hours, 15 415 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine, 5 587 patients were hospitalized, 481 patients died (new record – ed.), 11 472 people recovered.
