In Ukraine, a critical situation with COVID-19 is observed in five regions: Zhytomyr, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv. These regions may be in the “red” quarantine zone.
About this in air “UA: Ukrainian radio” said the chief sanitary doctor Igor Kuzin. The doctor spoke about the deterioration of the situation with the disease, noting that from October 15, the Kherson region will be the first to enter the “red” zone.
“We see that the situation in this area is now the worst,” Kuzin said.
The chief sanitary doctor noted that in problem areas, the coronavirus is being contained through the deployment of additional beds, testing and health system resources.
Kuzin previously said that in Ukraine may consider the possibility of introducing a third (booster) dose vaccines against coronavirus (COVID-19). Such vaccinations will be the first to be offered to people with chronic diseases.
